Model of the Month/June 2013

Mistress Cyanide

Name: Mistress Cyanide

Age: 40

Location: United Kingdom (Oxfordshire)

Q. How did you get into modeling?
A: Well I noticed on a facebook page that an online clothing site were looking for models to model for them. So I applied, not even expecting to get anywhere with the application. But too my surprise I was chosen!

Q. Who was your role model as a child and how did that help in being a model?
A: I can't ever recall having a role model. I used to pick out the good qualities I noticed in the people I was surrounded with.

Q. Other than looking sexy in front of the camera, what else do you enjoy doing?
A: I love going to watch live bands, love the atmosphere. I also enjoy gardening, making cards and jewelry.

Q. If you were not a model, what other profession would you have been doing instead
A: I do have another profession. I work in the care industry.

Q. How old were you when you found an interest in modeling and what made you want to start?
A: I always adored models from the age of 16/17. Looking through the pages of alternative style magazines and adverts. In truth I didn't think I would start it myself. Just came across it by pure luck.

Q. Where is your favorite place to shop?
A: Oh my gosh, I have to say ebay! I don't have many shops that are alternative in my area, so it's an easy option for me to be honest.

Q. What is your favorite beauty product?
A: My Tigi shampoo. I'm hair product mad!

Q. Where was your favorite shoot so far?
A: Oh now this is tricky! Every shoot I have done holds something I like so to pick one out would be hard.

Q. What you like to accomplish as a model?
A: Well the first two things I did would of been the dreams I wanted to accomplish. Which was modeling clothes and appearing in my idols music video.

Q. What advice would you give to a young girl who wants to pursue a modeling career?
A: Network like crazy! Always jot down ideas for shoots (clothes, location & theme) because ideas can pop into your head at any time. Always take a friend with you to shoots, NEVER go alone.
